Custom Maple Inlay: 4-Inch Prefinished Floors
This project showcases a specialized flooring design where 4-inch prefinished maple hardwood was integrated with large format stone tiles. Initially, the layout was carefully mapped out to align with the room's expansive windows and overall architecture. Following that, the prefinished maple boards were precisely measured and cut to form a precise border around the designated tile areas. Ultimately, the completed custom inlay defines the distinct zones of the open-concept living space while maintaining a smooth, continuous surface throughout the room.
