Random Yellow Pine Floors | Early American Stain Finish

Random Yellow Pine Floors | Early American Stain Finish

This project details the finishing process for 8, 10, and 12-inch random yellow pine floors in a residential build. Initially, the raw wood was prepped and sanded to create a smooth, uniform surface. Next, an early American stain was carefully applied, which deepened the color and highlighted the natural knots and grain patterns inherent to the wood. Finally, the flooring was sealed with three coats of Bona Mega waterborne finish, ensuring durable protection and a smooth, low-luster appearance that complements the architecture.
