When it comes to upgrading interior floors, white oak flooring delivers unmatched style and resilience. We selected 5” wide character white oak planks, celebrated for their distinctive grain and neutral tone. It’s a versatile option that complements traditional and contemporary designs alike.
The transformation was completed using Bona Mega ONE Matte Finish, a high-performance waterborne polyurethane. This product is ideal for residential use thanks to its fast drying time, easy application, and low VOCs.
Product Selection
For the finish, we applied three coats of Bona Mega ONE in Matte. This waterborne polyurethane provides excellent durability with a beautiful, low-sheen look. The matte finish enhances the wood’s natural beauty while offering protection against daily wear and tear.
Application Process
We began by carefully preparing the surface to ensure optimal adhesion. Then, each coat of Bona Mega ONE was applied with professional-grade tools and precision timing. The final result is a smooth, resilient finish that elevates the wood’s aesthetic without appearing glossy.

The Finishing Process
To ensure maximum adhesion and finish quality, we prepped the surface with care before applying three even coats of Bona Mega ONE Matte Finish. This created a smooth, matte surface that enhances the wood’s natural character without creating glare or a “plastic” look.
